Outreach Service Evaluation

Through consultations with multi-agency partners, managers of settings and parents/carers, Papworth Research and Consultancy evaluated the impact of this outreach service. The aims of the evaluation were to assess the following:
The value placed on the service by parents, external agencies/partners and settings and their satisfaction with it
The extent to which the service has enabled the Rural Sussex Children's Centre Programme to develop relationships with settings on which it can build to deliver further services
The extent to which the service has raised awareness and positive perceptions of the Rural Sussex Children's Centre Programme among parents, external agencies/partners and settings
The extent to which the service has succeeded in drawing in isolated families
The fit between the service and the aims of the Rural Sussex Children's Centre Programme's multi-agency partners
The impact of the service on parental play techniques, children's development and parent/child bonding
The value placed by parents on literature distributed by the service
Potential service improvements.
