Development of Project Access Stage 4 Leaflets
- Date: February 1999 - April 1999
- Client: Department of Social Security
This research project, undertaken with Market Research Services, was the fourth stage of Project Access, a process aimed at reducing significantly the number of leaflets provided for the public concerning the twenty or so benefits which were at that time provided by the Department of Social Security. The objectives of the research concerned assessing the effectiveness and appropriateness of each of four leaflets, including their perceived compatibility with the range of leaflets already developed at phases one and two. The research consisted, in effect, of four separate projects, each concerned with one of the four leaflets in the process of development. Focus groups and in-depth interviews were undertaken to gather data on reactions to the leaflets.
