Evaluation of Changing Lives, Changing Attitudes
- Date: January 2014 - July 2014
- Client: East Sussex Association of Blind & Partially Sighted People
Rachel evaluated Changing Lives, Changing Attitudes, as an Associate of Community Works.
Changing Lives, Changing Attitudes was a three year (January 2012 to December 2014) training programme funded (£272,000) by the Big Lottery’s Reaching Communities Programme, which provided training for blind and partially-sighted people and their carers.
ESAB asked Community Works to evaluate the programme both to meet Big Lottery requirements and to help it develop a bid for further funding.
The evaluation involved: analysis of data collected by ESAB; consultation with those involved in developing, managing and delivering the project; and discussion groups with beneficiaries and volunteers involved in its delivery.
